About SheMD

The mission of SheMD is to deliver outstanding gynecology and medical aesthetics services to the residents of the Little Neck and Douglaston neighborhoods of Queens, New York City, New York, in addition to the Great Neck area of Nassau County.

Board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Meryl E. Kahan, MD, FACOG, MSCP, launched SheMD in 2023 with the goal of providing women with compassionate and comprehensive care.

Dr. Kahan brings a wealth of training and experience to her role. She began her studies at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, before earning her medical degree at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
